Meet The Santa Ana TeamGiao Nguyen
Giao Nguyen received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California Riverside, 1998.
During his undergrad, he worked for the State of California Department of Food and Agriculture and Gilead Pharmaceutical. After graduating he was an Analytical Chemist at NBTY from 1998-2008, and worked at both IVC, Inc. in 2008-2017 and Pfizer in 2012-2015 as a Quality Control Chemist.
Bryan graduated from University of California, Irvine with a degree in Chemistry and transitioned into one of the academic research labs at the University. He joined the Poulos group, one of the top biochemistry research labs in the country that focuses on structure-function relationships in heme containing enzymes.
During the time spent at Poulos group Bryan led a team to help identify and purify a viral p450 enzyme. The project help conclude a long debated argument that simple organisms have complicated proteins to help in its defense against harmful toxins.
Jignesh graduated from University of California, Riverside with a degree in Environmental Science. He did his undergraduate work in the Soil and Water department at UC Riverside observing fungal hyphae growth in the rhizosphere.
His study progressed into evaluating soil and water dynamics where he worked alongside industry specialists sampling and testing in Northern California. While in the lab he transitioned to work with wastewater contamination in groundwater.
